Ruth Doria Obituary
Ruth Loring Doria 81, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Oct. 31, 2014. She was born on March 19, 1933 to the late William and Christina Loring in New Haven, Conn. Ruth was a teacher for 1 year at the Thornwood Elementary School in 1956. She is survived by her devoted husband, Vincent Doria of Valhalla, N.Y. and by her loving children, Frank (Christine) Doria of Rye Brook, N.Y., V. Paul (Nicole) Doria-Rose of Kensington, Maryland and Janet Ruth (David) Marceau of Montreal, Canada; one brother, William, Jr. (Linda) Loring of Yalesville, Conn. Also survived by her three cherished grandchildren, Steven Doria, Zachary and Jacob Ezra Doria-Rose. Predeceased by her two sisters, Marjorie Coe and Evelyn King. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service, Grace Episcopal Church, White Plains, N.Y. on Friday, 11 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 1359 Bway, Suite 1509 N.Y., N.Y. 10018 would be appreciated.
