DAVIS, Ruth The relatives and friends of Mrs. Ruth E. Davis, those of her granddaughters, Mrs. Patricia Atkinson and Mrs. Linda (Allen) Wilson, her sister Mrs. Bennie Sessions, her brother-in-law Mr. Robert L. Gamble and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary White are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service and that of her brother Mr. James Martin, this afternoon, Thursday, February 21, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in Bible Light Holiness Church, 9509 Bible Light Church Road, Ridgeway, SC. Interment Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Ridgeway. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Hal Martin and Mrs. Cora Moore Martin, her brothers, Mr. Marion Martin, Mr. William Martin, Mr. James Martin, Mr. Flem Martin, Mr. Nathaniel Martin and Mr. Hal Martin, Jr. also by her sisters Ms. Albertha Martin, Mrs. Eliza Squirewell, Mrs. Sallie Gamble and Mrs. Clarabell Ross. To the Family of Aunt Ruth,
Words cannot express our sincere feelings in regards to Aunt Ruth. My mind goes back to playing in her house, yard, eating her cooking, and most of all her sewing. God truy blessed both of you, Tris and Linda, becasue you had two mothers. (smile)
We know that this cannot be easy for you but remember that God is not going to give you more than you can bear. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
We know about losing loved ones but to lose two at a time Aunt Ruth and your Uncle Joe is truly a lot.
