You and Uncle Bud opened the world to me and my brother, Thank you for everything did for us. You can rest now

Thinking of you this day Ruthie! You will be missed by the Texas branch of your family. We wish we could be there to share with everyone how unique and special you were and will always be to us. Rest in Peace Great Lady.

Ruth was truly one of a kind and a wonderful mentor and friend to me. I feel so lucky to have known her. She will be deeply missed.

Ruthie, I will miss you as a friend and neighbor. You were always an interesting conversationalist. Rest now because you never did before.

What a great pleasure it was to have known Aunt Ruthie. She was a woman far ahead of her time, and an inspiration to many. All of her accomplishments during her life always made you stop and think, wow! Going to Oxford in her 80's always stuck out as one of those wow moments. She was loved by her family and she leaves a great legacy to those who will have her "spunk " to step out and go for whatever your dreams may be.
Rest in peace Ruthie, you were one in a million.

I'll never forget when Aunt Ruthie took me to see a puck rock opera during spoleto. We rode a ricksaw from her house to the college of charleston. When we entered the auditorium,they gave out ear plugs! Aunt Ruthie didn't need any since she could turn down her hearing aid! It was a spectacular evening with a wonderful person and friend. I will miss her.

Sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort, comfort you during this most difficult time.

Ruth was an inspiration to all of us as she kept active even as she got older. I was so impressed when she went to Oxford University in England to study when she was in her eighties. She had many accomplishments in her well lived life professional, political and as a member of the community.

Ruth was one of Charleston's first women lawyers. She was a scholar of Charleston history, a brilliant individual and a delightful dinner companion. So sorry to see her go.

Ruthie, as she first introduced herself to me, was one of the most able, kindest, caring lawyers in our Bar. She was a wealth of knowledge and history of our Bar. I will miss calling just to catch up on Bar history.

Wow I'm in shock! I was thinking about you over the weekend about getting legal advice from you not knowing that you had transition you miss Cupp are one of a kind one of the best attorney that I have ever met you have left an impression on my life you were a kind woman and always try to find a way to help and make things affordable may you rest in peace and I pray that God would be a comfort to your family God bless you all
