Ruth Chandler Obituary

Ruth Chandler N. CHARLESTON - Ruth Juanita Crosby Chandler, 89, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest at her home in North Charleston on Monday, August 5, 2013. The family will receive friends on Thursday August 8, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at J. HENRY STUHR'S INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston. The funeral service will be held Friday August 9, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at J. Henry Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel. Interment will be in the Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery on Azalea Drive, North Charleston. Mrs. Chandler was one of nine children, and was born March 17, 1924 in Charleston, SC, She was the daughter of Miner William Crosby and Maude Estell Kinard Crosby Stevens. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Juanita (Bobby) Gibson, Beverly Ann (Lee) Stelly, D. Jean (Danny) Tucker, Jacqueline E. Coody and Judy Towne; two brothers William E. Crosby and Robert E. Crosby; 11 grandchildren; 26 Great-grandchildren; 16 Great-great-grandchildren.
