Been friends with Russell my whole life, too many memories to pick just one. But I can say I've never known anyone more proud of his kids. Rest easy, brother.

Hey dad, thanks for being an amazing father and always being there for me. Thank you for the amazing moments and memories you lasted us with, I remember the days we would go out into the woods and create our own fortresses, or the tree-house you built me and Mead, and how you never missed a baseball practice or game. And how you always encouraged me to continue trying and always encouraging me to do my greatest. I remember when we went with Bobby to go and view Tony Hawk skateboarding and for being a huge role model in my life. Thank you for always calling me and seeing me every birthday, Christmas, and always being there. Thank you for the experiences and memories. Your in a better place now with Nick, Chuck, Schutz, and so many other great people. Love you dad, see you in a bit.

I remember Russell coming over looking for the boys, wanting to play with them. They were all much older, so he would settle for a glass of
Kool Aid and a few cookies, which was most always available.
