Ruby Beach Obituary

Ruby Fennell Beach WALTERBORO - Mrs. Ruby Fennell Beach, wife of the late D.C.L. "Ted" Beach, died Monday evening at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia. She was 95. Mrs. Beach was born in Colleton County December 29, 1913 a daughter of the late Frank S. Fennell and Eloise Lee Walsh Fennell. She was a former sales clerk, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Walterboro. She is survived by her son-in-law, Glenn Geddings of Columbia, as well as by four grandchildren, Diana G. Anderson, Faye Elizabeth Geddings, Glenn Mathis Geddings, and John Durell Geddings. There are six great-grandchildren, Jesse, Jason, and Sarah Anderson, Kevin Ross, and Rachel and Meg Geddings, as well as three nephews, Harris, Michael, and Joe Beach. Mrs. Beach was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Samuel Jackson Beach, her daughter, Eloise B. Geddings, her brother, Elwood "Bubba" Fennell, and her sister, Doris F. Davis. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:00, with burial following in the Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 at the funeral home.
