Gramma Rose,
I know I don't just speak for myself when I say I will always miss you. You brought so much joy to so many people, and were so loved.
Thank you for the special memories you made. You always let us know how special we were to you. I will cherish every single birthday card that you took so much time to personalize just for each of us. I will always remember family get togethers at your apartment in Newhall. I will miss your sweet voice and your love of music, and know that every time I hear a Judy Garland song (or watch my favorite movie Wizard of Oz) I will think of you. I will always be reminded of you through music. Oh, & I will miss hearing one of your signature phrases, "& all that jazz".
You were the most beautiful person, and I will always be inspired by you. I love you Gramma!
Your eldest grandchild,
~Stacy
Music, when soft voices die
Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory—
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.
Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the beloved's bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.
