Rosalind Valerie Simmons CHARLESTON - Ms. Rosalind Valerie Simmons, 72, of Charleston, SC, passed away on October 26, 2025. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, November 03, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in Folly Road Church of Christ, located at 1469 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412. The viewing for Ms. Simmons will be held at the mortuary on Sunday, November 02, 2025, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Sunset Memorial Garden, located at 2915 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC, 29418, will be the site of Ms. Simmons burial. Rosalind leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Deirdre Rivers; her granddaughter, Saige Rivers; one grandson, Semaj Rivers; her great-, Harlem Hill; five sisters, Delores Williams, Zandria Wilson, Marietta Mack, Sharon Simmons, Ramona Luster and Deborah Orage; one brother, Sidney Simmons; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving and sympathetic relatives and friends.
