The last day I had seen her was when we made this beautiful stuffed bird. We had so much fun that day and that is one of my last memories of her. I still have the bird we made and have no plans of throwing it out even if it breaks. I miss my grandma and she was my only one.

When I first came to Charleston Rosalia organized lovely parties and introduced new residents to the city. She was always there when one needed someone.
She was a leader in the Hispanic community and organized some wonderful parties, beach picnics, etc..
Rosalia was a wonderful teacher and loved her grandaughter. She cared for the education of her grandaughter and taught her about cultures and languages.
Rosalia will be missed. For me it will be difficult not to have someone to go to cultural events with, to ask for advice and to enjoy Charleston.
Rosalia has a wonderful family and a precious church.

I'm so sorry for your loss Norman. I'll always remember how kind she was to me, an old sailor who worked theatrical productions with her son, and her speaking Spanish to you, while you responded in English. It was hilarious. Mrs."A" was a nice lady. May God bless you and your family during this time.

My husband and I will miss loving, vibrant Rosalia. Her delicious food was always enjoyed with meals at St. Andrew's. I am thankful Rosalia involved her granddaughter, Amelia, in the church children's activities, and I hope she will want to continue with us.
Rosalia was a good teacher to me in many different ways.
Our love and prayers to her family-

What wonderful memories she leaves with us. From empanadas to the always smiling face, she was so giving. She invited me to cut Christmas greenery from the tree in the front yard and would come to my neighborhood Christmas dessert party with charm oozing out of her. She made lives richer by knowing her.

We have know your mom and dad, since they lived in Lake Charles. Ralph and Al worked together and we lived close to each other. Norma we picked you up many morning to take you to school, when you missed the bus.
Your mother and dad were such good friends for so many years. We had some reunions with those that worked together. We have kept up with them all these years and are blessed to call them good friends. They will be missed. You mother had such a good time with your daughter Norman. She was the highlight of her life. We all have to go through this in our own life and she now has passed on to the next. Our prayers and love are with all the family. Wish we could be there to celebrate her life. Kaye and Ralph

The Adelsflugels were our neighbors in Lake Charles, and I remember the entire family fondly. Sra. Adelsflugel was a great Spanish teacher, and she truly helped inspire a lifelong love of Spanish and Hispanic culture. I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope your memories provide a level of comfort.

Rosalia was one of the dearest women ever. I have such wonderful memories of both she and Albert and our times at YPPC. It was always good to hear from her through email and to see her at various events, usually connected to church. Eric, Norman and family, you will be in my prayers as you go through this loss. I can't help but feel joy that she is now reunited with your dad and Gustavo and is in the loving arms of Jesus.
