It is so hard to believe that it has been 8 years since Ronnie earned his wings. I know sometimes it seems like yesterday that my Fred and I met him at the VA Hospital and fell in love with him and Laura immediately. May God be with you during this time.

I worked with Ronnie for the first time in Alabama where I got to know his beautiful spirit. He took the time to get to know me by showing interest in my dreams. He always had a great big smile and encouraging words as well as a big FEMA hug to share. I was fortunate to cross paths with such a good human being. RIP Ronnie, we miss you but know you are in a beautiful place.

Everyone who knew Ronnie loved him. He was a beacon that shown of knowledge and wisdom among us. We worked together for years in FEMA and were together in at least five disasters. No one knew the business better that he. A consolation to all disaster survivors that he came in contact with. Our prayers are with the family. There may never be enough words to soothe your grieving heart but God will heal it in time. God bless. Yolanda Pabon

Laura we were saddened to hear of the passing of Ron, we would like to offer these words of encouragement to reflect upon in the coming days: God saw Ron getting tired and a cure was not to be. So
He put His arms around him and whispered "come to me."
With tearful eyes his love ones watched him, and saw him passed away.
Although they loved Ron dearly, they could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest.
God broke your hearts to prove to you, He only takes the best.
With deepest sympathy: The Williams Brothers and Sisters of Dupree Road, Mcclellanville, SC

I too worked with Ronnie at FEMA, he was a pleasant man with nothing but good things to say about anyone. He seemed to always to be at peace with himself and that aura of peacefulness engaged all those around him. May his family find comfort in God knowing he was loved and respected by those he worked with. Oscar Joseph (Chicago, IL.)
