To Ronnie Metts Family & Friends

His Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of him as gone away-his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets-this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
and think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched .... for nothing loved is ever lost- and he was loved so much.
To express sincere sympathy in your sorrow.

Jeanie, Jason, and the Entire Metts Family,

I was deeply saddened when I saw the article today about the Ben Sawyer Bridge and read of Ronnie's passing. I'm glad that I got to see him one more time a couple of weeks ago. I know that we had drifted apart the last few years, but I will always cherish his friendship, along with yours. Please do not hesitate to give me a call if there is anything that I can do for you. You have the Spencer Family's thoughts and prayers with you during this most difficult time. May God Bless Ronnie and the Entire Metts Family.

When I was younger, I always looked forward to my summertime visits with Aunt Jeanie and Uncle Ronnie in Charleston. One thing I will never forget, for the rest of my life, was his shrimp boat and how at ease he was with the sea. I am glad his ashes were sprinkled into the ocean which he loved so much. We will all surely miss him and keep him in our memories forever. In hard times it is always difficult to think of the good, but my Uncle Ronnie was a fun, outgoing, lovable man and I know for sure that is how he would always want to be remembered. Next time you see the ocean, think of him and remember that he is in a better place and if you have faith in the lord like he did, you will one day join him.

Love you Uncle Ronnie

My deepest and sincere sympathy are with you all. I moved to Florida a couple of months ago and was in Charleston for a few days to take care of some business. I wanted to call Muriel to see how Ronnie was doing but didn't have her number with me. On my return flight I read with sorrow his battle was over. Although your grief is with you now one day you will only have precious and wonderful memories of Ronnie, a true one of a kind! I prayed for you all and asked Ronnie to say hello to my Mother and all of our loved ones who have gone before us.

My very deepest sympathy to you all! I moved to FL a couple of months ago & went to Charleston for a few job interviews and other personal business. I wanted to call Muriel to see how Ronnie was doing but didn't have her number. Reading the Charleston paper today on my return flight I was deeply saddened to see he had passed away. Although we all have not kept up so much through the years I always had fond and funny memories of Ronnie. His battle was long and your sadness will one day be replaced by only good and loving memories. I prayed for you all today and told Ronnie to say hello to my Mom.
