Ronald Muckenfuss Obituary

Ronald Clyde Muckenfuss ADAMS RUN, SC - Ronald Clyde Muckenfuss, 71, of Adams Run, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 12, 2023. Ronald was born December 1, 1951, in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Lonnie Allen Muckenfuss and Dorothy Infinger. Ronald graduated from St. Paul's High School in 1969. He served one tour in the Army in Vietnam, and retired from the Coast Guard reserve after serving 20 years. Ronald worked at the Naval shipyard for 28 years. He was also the chairman of St. Paul's Fire Commission, and a private pilot. He was an active member of the Adams Run Baptist Church, and was a Mason at the Jacksonboro Masonic Lodge 206. He is survived by daughter, Erin Muckenfuss LaRoche (Daniel) of Wadmalaw Island, SC; two sons, Patrick Welch Muckenfuss of Adams Run, SC, and Francis Joshua Muckenfuss of Wilmington Island, GA; three sisters, Betty M. Sanford of Adams Run, SC, Brenda M. Carroll of Walterboro, SC, "Patsy" M. Kersey (Jones) of Goose Creek, SC; two brothers, Gerald "Sonny" Muckenfuss of Franklin, NC, Bobby Muckenfuss (Beverly) of Summerville, SC; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins. The family would like to acknowledge the recent passing of his best friend, Raggie Baggie. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, in the Hopewell Baptist Church, 6869 Parkers Ferry Road, at 1:30 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Adams Run Baptist Church, PO Box 25, Adams Run, SC 29426. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com.
