Ronald Joseph "Ronnie" Edwards Isle of Palms - Ronald Joseph "Ronnie" Edwards, 54, of Isle Of Palms, South Carolina, son of the late Thomas Isaac "Pompi" Edwards and Kathryn MaxineThornley Edwards died Wednesday, October 28, 2015. His Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. Ronnie was born November 28, 1960 in Charleston, SC. He grew up on the Isle of Palms and moved to Mount Pleasant after finishing school. Ronnie worked as a carpenter and loved all things outdoors, including golf, surfing, and fishing. He was also known to be a pretty good cook. Ronnie was kind and loving to everyone. He would do anything for you expecting nothing in return. He was known as "Ronno" to his close friends and was often found reciting his mantra of "Breathe in, Breathe out." Ronnie had his own way to look at the world. He will be missed by many and was one of a kind. He is survived by his mother, Kathryn; brother, Bernard Leroy "Lee" Edwards (True) of Mount Pleasant, SC and sister, Melissa Dawn Edwards of Morehead City, NC; sister-in-law, Monica Edwards of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his nieces and nephews: Nat, Kathryn, and Maggie Edwards, Brandon and Madison Gompert, Christy Keith and Heather Sherrill; and great nieces and nephew: Carley, Sawyer, and Allie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Allen (Timmy) Edwards. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com.
