Ronald Crosby Obituary

CROSBY, Ronald Mr. Ronald David Crosby, husband of Sherrill Varn Crosby, died Saturday evening at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. He was 56. Mr. Crosby was born in Orangeburg, May 28, 1952 a son of John Rufus Crosby and the late Vernelle Carr Crosby. As a child, he attended Pine Level Baptist Church in Grays, and was a construction worker for M and G Builders for over 20 years. He enjoyed History, and was an avid fan of the game of Baseball. In addition to his wife and his father, he is survived by his step-mother, who raised him, Maggie Crosby. He has two sisters, Deborah Poland, of Monticello, SC and Sandra Hall, of Pelion, SC. There is one brother, Dwight Crosby, of Mt. Pleasant, and one step-brother, Robert Hughes, of St. George. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the Live Oak Cemetery.
