Ron Aydlette Memoriam

In Loving Memory Of RON AYDLETTE Sept. 21, 1947 ~ Dec. 10, 2008 "The Broken Chain" We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone; For part of us went with you, The day God called you Home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. We Love and Miss You, Your Wife, Children, Grandchildren, & Sister

Martha, et al.,

It is hard to believe that it has been 2 yrs. since Ronnie passed. He always had and will have a place in my heart. I remember well the good times we had and that he was a good person, generous to a fault if he cared about someone, and hell on wheels if he didn't like you....all traits to be appreciated.

I recently pulled out some old pictures and in them were pictures of a group of us on a camping trip....me drinking a Schlitz beer sittin' around a fire all young and naive and goofy looking. Do they even make the stuff anymore?

I lost my beloved brother Randolph on January 22, 2010. He and Ronnie worked together many years at the Navy Yard. The loss of a sibling is different than that of a parent, I believe. Life goes on but hopefully the pain of your grief is slowly being replaced with fond, funny, and priceless memories.

Kindly,
Cynthia Salvo
