Martha, et al.,
It is hard to believe that it has been 2 yrs. since Ronnie passed. He always had and will have a place in my heart. I remember well the good times we had and that he was a good person, generous to a fault if he cared about someone, and hell on wheels if he didn't like you....all traits to be appreciated.
I recently pulled out some old pictures and in them were pictures of a group of us on a camping trip....me drinking a Schlitz beer sittin' around a fire all young and naive and goofy looking. Do they even make the stuff anymore?
I lost my beloved brother Randolph on January 22, 2010. He and Ronnie worked together many years at the Navy Yard. The loss of a sibling is different than that of a parent, I believe. Life goes on but hopefully the pain of your grief is slowly being replaced with fond, funny, and priceless memories.
Kindly,
Cynthia Salvo
