Roger was one of the most generous, thoughtful, & kindest man I know. He was an excellent bridge player & teacher. He taught many of us to be better players. I was lucky enough to have him as a duplicate bridge partner for 7 years. I truly miss him and he will always be a wonderful friend. My Prayers will continue to go out to the family. Trisha Anderson

I was blessed to meet and get to know Roger at Cursillo weekend #189 at Camp St. Christopher in October of 2021. We waited a long time for that weekend due to Covid and we were all pretty happy to finally be there. Roger was a blessing to his Decuria table and to all who met him. He was smart, thoughtful, kind, and always polite to everyone. I shared some photos from the weekend here and my favorite was when he agreed to lead us in prayer before lunch one day. He said a beautiful blessing for our meal and in doing so, blessed us all. I am so sorry to hear he is no longer here, but happy that we all know he is with Jesus now.

Roger was just a really nice guy and such a gentleman. Occasionally he played at the Charleston Bridge Center where I first met him. I was so sad to read that he passed away. Sincere condolences to his family.

I count myself, as very fortunate to have met and spent several hours with Roger. He was a very devout and thoughtful human being and was very focused on the "4th day" and in maintaining relationships created at the Cursillo week-end. I learned a lot from observing and in discussions with him. Although our time together, was short (and I regret I did not try to contact him) it was sweet and very meaningful. He is remembered and will be missed.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I really enjoyed his thought and presence, we were on the same team and he treated me as a family member. I loved you and am grateful to you for your kindness. I miss you always,
