Reverend Roger L. Washington MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The relatives and friends of Reverend Roger L. Washington will celebrate his life on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Royal Family Life Center, 4750 Abraham Ave., North Charleston, SC 29405. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC. With military honors. Rev. Washington will lie in state at Mt. Lebanon AME Church, 3445 County Line Rd., Andrews, SC, Thursday from 4Pm-7Pm, where a wake service will be held from 6-7PM. Rev. Washington will also lie in state at Royal Family Life Center on Friday from 4PM-7PM, where the family will receive friends from 6-7PM. Reverend Washington leaves to cherish his memories, his Children, Leslie Washington, Roger M. Washington, Martina R. Washington, Jonathan D. Washington, Kenric Rivers (Danielle), Lavonya N. Williams, and Joshua J. Washington (Javette); siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Roger was an avid Bonds Wilson advocate, with priority to the class of 1971. He spent more than half of his life keeping the Bonds Wilson legacy alive. Trusting that the family will find comfort and peace at this time. Earth has no sorrow which heaven cannot heal. Roger was loved by so many. He will never be forgotten.
