It was such a blessing to know Alexander. We joked that he was The Mayor of Harvey Street because he was such an important person to our community. He was loved, he will be missed! Gods blessings on his family.

I met Alexander more than 35 years ago. He was always fun loving and upbeat. When he was around, the atmosphere was always full of laughter. We lost contact for a real long time, as you know he was adventurous and always ventured out. He and I reconnected on facebook about four months ago after more than 30 years . He shared his faith and inspirational quotes with me. He talked about the one thing he loved dearly, his music. I was pleased to hear he was using his saxophone to glorify God. SIP my crazy friend. Condolences to the Alexander family, the prayers of many are with you.

To the Family of Rodney Alexander
Mr. Rodney or "saxophone man" as we called him. Will be missed but will remain in our hearts. I invited him to perform at our church, we enjoyed him playing. The employees at Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) will miss him very much. Remember to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
