Robin Zimmerman CHARLESTON - Robin Faith Zimmerman died Saturday, October 20, at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. Mrs. Zimmerman was born on April 25, 1955, at Helen, West Virginia. She and David Lewis Zimmerman were married May 10, 1995, in Manassas, Virginia, and moved to Charleston in 2002. She is survived by her husband, David; mother, Cora Lester Phipps of Virginia; brother, Keith Phipps of Maryland. Funeral services will be held in Beckley, West VA, Friday, October 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Home, 1901 South Kanawha St. Memorial service, Wednesday, October 31, 2:00 p.m., at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 1393 Miles Drive, Charleston, SC. Robin was a devoted wife and loving "nana" to her husband's grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan. She had a passion for gardening and joyously added new varieties of day lilies to her beautiful garden annually. She is greatly admired for her quick mind, fine work ethic and compassionate heart; responding to others' needs willingly.
