Robin Collins MT. PLEASANT - The Funeral Service for Robin Collins will be held in the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 405 King Street, Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 11:00 am. Interment to immediately follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Men's Work Crew at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 405 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403, or the Neighbors Together (formally known as Tri- County Ministries), 2105 Cosgrove Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405. Uncle Robin was a joyful man who lifted the spirits of everyone. As a little girl he would tell stories to my brothers and I using hand monsters of good guys and bad guys. He always has time for us.

Just a few years ago I watched him dance the night away with his youngest granddaughter, Courtney. Though he was fifty years older he was still bringing his high energy joy to a different generation:
