I have worked for the Collins family for almost two decades. Mr. Robin made sure to tell me how much he appreciated me whenever he saw me. He always had a sweet smile on his face and a sparkle in his eye. Ms. Sandy, Bryan, Tim, y'all have never made me feel less than family and my heart and thoughts are with you now. Uncle Robin was a joyful man who lifted the spirits of everyone. As a little girl he would tell stories to my brothers and I using hand monsters of good guys and bad guys. He always has time for us.
Just a few years ago I watched him dance the night away with his youngest granddaughter, Courtney. Though he was fifty years older he was still bringing his high energy joy to a different generation:
