Roberta May Cook Charleston - Roberta May Cook, 80, of Charleston, SC, entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017, in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home at 3:00pm. The family will receive guests from 2:00pm until service time. Roberta was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Lee Cook, and her mother, Ola Ballard. Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving family; husband of 64 years, Luther Cook; eight children, Wade Cook (Diane), Linda Cook Cooper, Brenda Cook, Todd Cook, Bradley Cook, Gary Cook (Kim), Sally Cook White (Carl), Pamela Cook-Smith (John); seven grandchildren, one grand-dog; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Roberta took care of numerous children and touched many lives. She loved flowers, her family, and the simple things in life. She was fun-loving and she made everyone feel welcome.
