Robert Zielke Obituary

ZIELKE, Robert Robert E. Zielke, devoted father, loving husband and beautiful son left his family on Sunday, April 15, 2007, to be with his Lord Jesus Christ. His faith and the Catholic Church sustained him during his long and difficult illness. Robert wrote numerous screen plays and grammar books, was the editor for Dallas Woman Magazine and did internet editing for various companies. Robert's love of the English language, music and literature was only surpassed by his love for his boys, Grant and Ethan. Robert was born on Monday, August 4, 1969, in Fontana, California, a son of Roberta Ann Hall Zielke and Charles Edward Zielke. He graduated from Monte Vista High School in Danville, CA. and Midwestern State University. Robert is survived by his parents of Kiawah Island, his wife: Amy; his sons: Grant and Ethan; his sister: Jacquelyn A. Gouveia; his brother: Joshua Zielke; his maternal grandmother: Geraldine Hall as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The relatives and friends of Mr. Robert E. Zielke are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Friday, April 20, 2007, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home 1620 Savannah Hwy. between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
