Well Bruce another year has passed, it doesn't seem like 12 years. I still think of you and the grand times we had chasing Bugs and MGs. So much changes that we don't have a hand in, we just push on. You are a good friend and I don't have many to talk to so I hope you don't mind when I look up to you. many good wishes your friend Mike.

Another year has passed, still so sad. Every time I see an old VW I think of you. Many of our old friends have passed on. This last year has been very rough with major health problems, I now know what you were going thru. Hope your girls are doing well, I know they miss you. Your friend Mike.

Can't believe that so many years have passed. I do think of Bruce a lot and he is remembered at work by many more with kind words and stories of how Bruce came into their lives. He came into my life and will always have a place there. He is missed and remembered and in our prayers.

Kathy and family:
Our condolences once again, we know you will miss Bruce. His passion and expertise on the "little bugs" is unmatched. He helped me become more passionate than I should have about them and the busses. To say he lived vicariously on that passion was not true, he lived the hobby right along with me. Our VW outings were great examples of how he loved the cars and trucks vw produced. I don't think I saw him happier than when we towed Elmer home to your home in North Charleston. He passed on the very day that I was in Bustoration in Lake Havasu City Arizona purchasing his Bustoration Shirt and speaking of him to the owner of the shop, Ronnie, out there. I have kept his emails on my computer and think of hime daily as I head off to the Samba website, as he did for me many a time. Maybe too many. I will certainly miss him but remember how much we enjoyed each others company on our VW outings and purchases of those "Treasurers". Keep in touch with us, Jim and Irene Morris on James Island.

To Bruce Yarnell's family,
I am so sorry to hear about Bruce. I got to work with Bruce a little bit when he was working at MUSC in the '90s. He was not only reliable, but considerate and you know he would tell you the truth if you had questions. His presence will be missed.
Sincerely,
Jan Barto

Bruce has left his touch on so many lives. The kindest person I have ever known. He is now where he can be free of illness and pain, I will always miss him.

Dear Kathy and girls---Bruce was without a doubt one of the kindest men we've known and I told him it was a pleasure and an honor to have him in our family---no matter that I shut the door in his face when he was dating Kathy.

Bruce was far ahead of all of us in the wisdom department and I'm thinking we could learn a thing or two from him.

When I talked to Bruce in the wee hours Monday morning he regretted 'being out of town' and unable to enjoy the deviled eggs being served at his Party. I wish I could come to the service and the party, I'd eat his share of deviled eggs and let him know how great they were.

I admired his faith in God and people and darn it we are going to miss him!

Our condolences to you, Kathy, and the entire family. Bruce's gentle ways and ready warmth are going to be missed by so many. My sweetest memories will be of him teaching me to drive a stick shift and going shoe shopping with me at Tyson's Corner - both with equal humor and patience! We will miss you, Bruce.

To my "second family",
I am so sorry for the pain you are all feeling now, but I know that Bruce is not feeling any pain any longer. I am thankful to have gotten to know him better as a person this past year on Facebook, and not just as my best friend's dad. His sense of humor and positive outlook were an encouragement to all those around him.

I already shared this with Kerrie. One of the best memories of my life is watching Bruce dance with Kerrie at her wedding. May you be comforted in your time of loss. Love, Jill Ross

I miss you dear friend. Hardly a day went by that we didn't talk on the computer or by phone since we met many years ago in AOL Hobby chat room. We have shared family stories and enjoyed so much. I am sure God is taking very good care of you. You are a very special person and Heaven is brighter with you there. Love forever to you and your family.

To Kathy and daughters and Ed and
Mary, you have our deepest sympathy.
Bruce was a wonderful fellow but we
haven't kept in touch since he and his

Bruce was a dear, kind man! I never see a VW Bug without thinking about him. We shared stories of our children and grandchildren via facebook, and his humorous comments always made me smile.
God's peace be with you.

Kathy,
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Bruce was wonderful, and I am most thankful that we had the pleasure of meeting. I enjoyed his sense of humor & how over time he became outspoken with things that needed attention. He will be greatly missed & please accept my deepest sympathy. Know that we are a call away. Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Bruce when I was the admin at St. George's and always enjoyed his visits when he would stop by. Have missed his smiles over the past few months but kept in touch with facebook post. He will be missed by all who knew him
