Robert "Bob" L. Wilson HANAHAN - Robert "Bob" L. Wilson, 83, of Hanahan, SC, husband of Dolores Holladay Wilson, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, in a local hospital. Born October 29, 1927, in Covington, KY, he was one of five children of Steve Wilson and Elsie Shackelford Wilson. He was retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard and a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of Portside Baptist Church. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dolores Wilson of Hanahan, SC; daughter, Ginger Witt of Hanahan, SC; grandson, Erik King and his wife Kim of Hanahan, SC; great-grandchildren, Lyndsey, Brittany, Lauren, Brooke, Cain, Adam, Isabella and Sarah; sisters-in-law, Louise Garnett and Velma Rae Sult both of Hanahan, SC. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Wilson; three brothers; and one sister. The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Friday April 29, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Portside Baptist Church, 1179 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.
