Robert Welch Obituary

Robert J. Welch, Jr. MANNING, SC - Robert J. Welch, Jr., 46, of Manning, SC, died Friday, February 3, 2012. A memorial service will be held Wednesday morning, February 8, 2012 at Wassamassaw Baptist Church at 11 o'clock. Burial will be private. Flowers will be accepted. Mr. Welch was born May 12, 1965 in Charleston, SC, a son of Robert J. Welch, Sr., and Esther Bunch Welch. He was US Marine Corps veteran and a member of Wassamassaw Baptist Church. He was employed by Advanced Auto Parts in Manning, SC and as a Correctional Officer at MacDougall Correctional Institution. Survivors include his parents, Robert J. Welch, Sr., and wife Patsy of Summerville, SC; his mother, Esther Bunch Morton of Johns Island, SC; two sons, Robert J. Welch III of Groton, CT and Jonathan Welch of NC; one sister, Penny Boaz of Summerville, SC. Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
