I was very pleased and comforted by attending the memorial mass for Bob at St. Catherines. I spoke to some of his children and failed to mentionour time together on the New Canaan train crash. My husband should have been conductor onthat train but took the day off. Bob and I met up at the scene and the two of us climbed up the bank and Proceede down the car of a very tilted train to aid the engeneer who was trapped. We were halfway into the car when we were told to get off or we would cause the train to roll off the bank. So we did. I did care for the man after the crash and told him that Bob and I tried to come to his aid. Thought you may like to know of one of your Dads good deeds. He won't be forgotten as a Friend,my obstetrician(very trying decisions for he and our family, two premies (one at seven mos. and one at eight mos.with RDs and a long stay at Yale). He was also a co-worker at St Joes. A patient of mine when he was so very ill. My sympathy to you all. Love and prayers. Dottie Harvey
