I send condolences to Oliver and to Bob's other family and friends. I count Bob as one of the most important people in my life. I am especially appreciative of his efforts at The Citadel and am delighted that he made it out to Wyoming for a visit back in the 1990s.

With great appreciation,
Trey

I met Robert Sauers and his partner, Oliver, when our son, Joshua Tepfer, married his neice, Elizabeth Sauers. I was warmed by his personality, as he was interested and enthusiastic about everyone and everything around him. I particularly enjoyed talking to him about poetry. My condolences to Oliver and the Sauers family. I know the memory of Robert will always be a blessing.
