Robert Runge Obituary

Robert Carl Runge CHARLESTON - Robert Carl Runge was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was a World War II veteran. Moved to Oklahoma to start his career after the war. Owner/CEO of Insurers Loss Management in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Member of Arrowhead Yacht Club where he raced regattas in his sailboat. He was an animal lover and showed dogs. He retired to historic Brookland Plantation, where he enjoyed a gentleman's country life. Followed by a downtown Charleston home where he enjoyed the people that toured his home. He enjoyed philanthropy and the downtown Charleston life. He is proceeded in death by his daughter, Ellen Townsend Runge and is survived by his wife, Cynthia Mary Runge; son, Davidson Henning Runge; Laura Heath Farris; and Jen nifer Hill Brinson.
