Robert Reaves Obituary

REAVES, Robert Robert "Bob" Wilson Reaves, 76, of Charleston, SC died Friday, December 5, 2008 at a local nursing home. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 8, 2008 at PARKS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL at eleven o'clock. Burial will be private. Friends may call at PARKS FUNERAL HOME Sunday afternoon from three until five o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association/ Coastal Carolina Chapter, P.O. Box 80459, Charleston, SC 29416. Mr. Reaves was born July 8, 1932 in Greeneville, TN a son of the late Doyle Reaves and Mabel Disney Reaves. He was a dog trainer and owner of Carolina Kennels. He loved football, hunting, fishing and golf. Survivors include his wife Rosalyn W. Reaves of Charleston; two sons, W. Andy Reaves of St. George and Robert C. Reaves and wife Mary of TX; three daughters, Robin Hanckel of Charleston, Minda Reaves of Alpharetta, GA, Jenny Paynter and husband George of TN; eight grandchildren, Caroline and Ellie Paynter of TN, Jackie, Charlie and Sam Reaves of TX; Katie Kitchens, Beth Hanckel and Elle Hanckel of Charleston; one great-granddaughter, Nora. He was predeceased by his parents and one grandson, Francis S. Hanckel, V. Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, 130 W. 1st North St., Summerville, SC 29483.
