Robert Powers Obituary

Of Stoneham, formerly of Charlestown, November 26, age 69 years. Beloved husband of Mary C. (Tarrant) Powers. Cherished father of Daniel J. Powers and his wife Ann of Reading, Kathleen M. Carroll and her husband Timothy of Ohio, and Paul C. Powers and his wife Nancy of Wakefield. Loving brother of Helen Regan of Southwick, MA, Bernadette Denehy of Stoneham, the late Edward Powers, Thomas Powers, and Marie Brennan. Also survived by 9 dear grandchildren. Funeral from the A. E. Finnegan & Son Home for Funerals, 322 Main St., STONEHAM, Monday, December 1 at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Patricks Church, Stoneham at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. U.S. Coast Guard Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Retired employee with new England Telephone Co. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
