He worked for Albany International (Albany Felt) in St. Stephens, SC and retired from their division, Appleton Wire, in Montgomery, AL. Upon retiring, he pursued his passion of farming and gardening in his beloved Pike Road community. In the fall, he enjoyed fishing and shrimping the tributaries and coastal waterways of Edisto Island, SC. He loved sharing his produce and his catch with friends, neighbors and strangers alike.
