Bob Mott (September 27, 1930 - January 6, 2026) was born in Cobb County, GA to Nina (Stallings) and Tillman Oxford Caldwell. After the death of his mother, he was adopted in 1939 by Amanda (Fore) and Alfred W. Mott and moved to Atlanta.
He was graduated from Brown High School, joined the Marines in 1950 and served in Korea. He was extremely proud of owning Bob's Amoco in Charleston, SC for many years and later working for Customs in Presidio, TX. He had many interests including woodworking, creative writing, playing golf, reading, working in his yard, delivering Meals on Wheels and enjoying friendships made at Clayton Presbyterian Church and Cannonwood Village.
Bob was preceded in death by his brothers (Jack Caldwell, Tillman Caldwell, Jr. and Roy Turner); sisters (Clare Lundskow and Kit Scofield); and wife of 49 years, Brenda Carroll Mott. He is survived by his daughter Paige Williams (TR); son Paul Mott, grandson Keegan and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Bob died at home in Tiger GA with his cat Grace beside him. He will be missed.
