Robert was a personal friend and fellow "Scouter" whom I have known since 1961. He served the Charleston area council of the Boy Scouts of America as a local Scoutmaster at his church and in other capacities for over 50 years. His volunteer work will be missed in the various community activities, especially Woodmen of World and SOC of which he was a proud and honorable member. We shared the common bond of Scouting and stamp collecting and friendship developed beyond that. I will surely miss him.
