Robert V. Mizzell CHARLESTON - Robert V. Mizzell, 78, of Charleston, SC, widower of Linda Rabens Mizzell, entered into eternal rest, Monday, December 27, 2021. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC at 1 p.m. Entombment will follow the service at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Robert was born July 20, 1943 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Christian Hugo Mizzell and the late Effie Mitchum Mizzell. He was a retired truck driver for Consolidated Freight. Robert enjoyed fishing, camping and taking cruises with his wife. He was member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. Robert is survived by three daughters: Melanie M. Mimms (Bobby) of North Charleston, SC, Tracey M. Weatherford of Summerville, SC and Dawn M. Baldwin (Shawn Brookshire) of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren: Spencer, Brandon, Lindi, Bobby, Thomas, Rachel, Matthew and Shawny; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers: Edward Mizzell, Gene Mizzell and her bonus daughter, Marci Grimsley, a blessing from God.
