Robert "Bobby" Miller COTTAGEVILLE, SC - Robert Miller, 62, of Cottageville, SC, husband of Gail Miller, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Bobby was born on September 30, 1961 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Bruce Howard and Mary Rourk Miller. Bobby and Gail enjoyed 20 plus years of marriage! He enjoyed many things in life including camping, spending time outdoors, and especially his German shepherd. He worked for Lanxess, which was formally known as Bayer Corporation and the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Bobby loved volunteering for SVC. He attended memorials and helped with grave clean ups as well. Any event that SCV held, Bobby attended. Most of all, Bobby's priority was his family, and he loved them dearly. He was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed. In addition to his wife, Gail Miller, he is survived by: children: Matthew Ryan Miller as well as stepchildren, Megan and Aaron Mouzon; granddaughter, Gianna Marie Miller; siblings: Cindy Berezny and Ronald Miller. He was preceded in death by a loving son, Jeremy Edward Miller. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 1pm to 2pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 South Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The funeral service will begin at 2pm in the chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
