Robert Porter McNairy MT. PLEASANT - Robert Porter McNairy, 84, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Jane Lynn Jarvis McNairy, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 18, 2025. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. Robert was born June 27, 1940 in Greensboro, North Carolina, son of the late James David McNairy and the late Audrey Porter McNairy. He was a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill. He was a partner with McGlagrey & Pullen in Charlotte, NC for over 30 years. He passion was woodwork and making beautiful furniture. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Services will be held at a later date. In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by children: Doug McNairy of Mt. Pleasant, Lynn McNairy King (Tony) of Charlotte, NC, and Porter McNairy of Greensboro, NC; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Lamb (Wally) and Margaret Luebke (Rick). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by children: Edward "Ted" McNairy and Jim McNairy; and siblings: Jimmy McNairy, Sam McNairy, and Charles McNairy.
