Dear Aunt Veda, I was so shocked to here about uncle Mac. Lee Ann and I always talk about the good old days when we would go to your house and visit. All are special memories for me. Hope to see you thanksgiving. My heart is with you and the family. I Love you always Patti from Utah

mac was the best of the best neighbors we have ever had. he was always there to answer my questions about anything.he inspired me to keep going.i would see mac keep working ,plowing, working on the dock. will miss hearing the tractor and seeing the garden grow. we will miss you mack.

We will all miss Uncle Robert. We will keep You, Robbie and Dwayne in our prayers. It sure will be a huge loss not having my Uncle robert in our lives. Oh sooooo many memories that the two of you gave us. The oyster roast, holiday gatherings (and lets not forget the smoked turkey's), the trips to Morris Island on the (Pop a Top).You and Uncle Robert fed me my first oyster when Mom and Dad dropped while you watched us.It sure would be my pleasure for you to feed my Daughter (Shelby Lynn) Her first oyster.(Family tradition) WE all love you thanks for being the Greatest Aunt anyone could ask for.

Mac was a good man and a great friend to many. He will be missed, but will live in the hearts of the many lives that he touched! He was a great friend of my Dad.

Dear Veda and Family,
I was so sad to get the call from Dad that "Mr. Mack" was gone. I love him dearly and loved to banter with him about who had the best gizzards in town, teased him about coming to ride the jet skis, and threatened to bring my camper back down for him to repair. He and my dad are best friends...and they represent the "Greatest Generation" well. They are men of character with a hard work ethic, frugality, and willingness to help their neighbor, family and community with whatever it takes. "Mr. Mack" will be sorely missed and it is a huge loss for Seccesionville as well as our personal family. We love you.
