Robert Lee McDaniel LADSON - Robert Lee McDaniel, 81, of Ladson, SC, died Monday, January 4, 2016. His funeral service will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 1:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Robert was born September 18, 1934 in Indiana, one of thirteen children of the late Virgil McDaniel and the late Lillian Marie Cox McDaniel. Robert was retired from the City of Charleston Fire Department and General Dynamics. He was an avid bowler and a member of First Baptist Church of North Charleston. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Lee Palmer (Ron); brother, Virgil McDaniel (Laraine); sister, Carolyn "Pat" Bowling all of Dayton, OH; three grandchildren: Stacy Stiles (Richard) of Xenia, OH, Stephanie Nevin (Dennis) and Shari Marum all of Dayton, OH; eight great-grandchildren.
