Robert David Lilienthal DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, FL - Mr. Robert David Lilienthal, age 68, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was born December 8, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina to Jack Edward Lilienthal Sr. and Grace Beasley. Mr. Lilienthal was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Lutheran by faith. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, serving his country in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army with twenty- one years of service before retiring as a First Sergeant. He was highly decorated, receiving a National Defense Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Aircraft Crewman Badge, Drill Sergeant ID Badge, Recruiter Ring, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, and Gold Recruiter Badge three Sapphire Stars. He also worked as a Real Estate Agent for thirty years. He loved "photography", riding horses, and working on his farm. Mr. Lilienthal was preceded in death by his father and mother; and brother Jack Lilienthal. Mr. Lilienthal is survived by his significant other Michelle Primosch of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; two sons, Robert David Lilienthal Jr. and wife Kasi of Inlet Beach, Florida, Matthew Scott Lilienthal and wife Elizabeth of South Carolina; daughters, Michele Lilienthal Pappano and husband Frank of South Carolina; sister, Suzann Lilienthal of Charleston, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Elias Lilienthal, Jackson Lilienthal, Connor Lilienthal, Parker Lilienthal, Christian Pappano, and Haley Pappano.
