Our deepest condolences to the Family.
Robert was my classmate at Avery. I have vivid images of him during our school days--always dressed in a suit--always a gentleman.

One of our best drivers, Mr. Robert was a kind and gentle soul. He loved loved loved the children that rode his bus daily. He would especially "light up" as the little ones got on the bus each day and said "Hello Mr. Robert!". Many times he would make a return trip to school because a child had left a bookbag or lunchbox on the bus and as he would say "I know they need this today so I came back". He ALWAYS had a smile and kind words--never complained about anything. We could all learn a lot from him, and have, and continue to keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. We miss him!

Mr. Robert will be missed by many. He drove my kids' bus at James B. Edwards. He was a loving, gentle, kind soul and I always felt so thankful to have him watching out for my children. We moved from that neighborhood to a different one last year after Christmas and one thing that was the hardest was leaving "Mr. Robert". I always enjoyed talking to him daily at the bus stop, as he was never in a rush and always had kind things to say. Harding, William, Charlotte, and I are so thankful to have known him.

We knew Mr. Robert as he was a bus driver at our school. He was always a favorite, very kind and caring about his "children". He will be missed.
