I am so sad to hear of Bobs passing. We really enjoyed the times you visited and we got to know him a little. I was looking forward to a few more joyful times with him. He was kind, fun, interesting. His life made a difference. What a sad day for us, and a wonderful day for heaven.

Dr. Ledford gave me my first administrative job. Words can not express how much I admired and appreciated everything he did for me. He was truly the most amazing educator that I had the privilege to learn from. He taught me so much about instruction, data, and life. He developed more leaders than anyone I have ever known. His love of education and children was shared with so many educators like myself, that went on to be school administrators. The knowledge he shared with so many of us impacted the lives of children far beyond the ones that he served as their principal. He had a great sense of humor and made me laugh even when I wanted to cry. During my career many times during a week I or another person that worked for him quoted one of his many "Bobisms" as we loved to call them. Prayers to his entire family and know that his legacy in education will live on for many years to come.
Prayers,

Prayers and thoughts for the entire family, especially as they adjust to life without Bob. I joked with him about calling him Tex, Robert, Bob, Dr.,or Sir and he quickly replied that it didn´t matter as long as I always called him a friend. I will cherish memories of a dear friend.
