I know this is terribly late, but I will never forget the kindness , strength, and dedication of Bob Koger who volunteered his time and energy as an advisor to Citadel cadets like me, at the CS Org on Monday nights back in 1958 as I struggled through my first year at The Citadel. ~ Rick Clifton

Thinking of you, Ruth and the family! I have fond memories of going to the office with Mr Koger and my Daddy and "working" to help out! You are all in my heart and prayers. Patricia Cone

Bob Koger epitomized the phrase "a true Southern gentleman." His strength was in his meekness, his wisdom, and his compassion. His value to the Charleston community was felt through his work, his church, his family and his community service. His was a life well-lived in service to God and man, and the blessings he worked to bestow upon others are coming back to comfort his family and friends in this time of his passing.
