Robert Keyser Obituary

Robert "Bob" N. Keyser NEW BERN, NC - Robert "Bob" N. Keyser, 88, of New Bern, NC, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice, Greenville, NC. Bob graduated from Georgia Tech with a mechanical engineering degree. A man of faith, he was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was active in golf and tennis at Taberna Country Club. He previously served as the President of International Town & Country Club, President of Jaycees in Vienna, Virginia; Senior VP of Pierce Associates; President of the DC Mechanical Contractors Assoc. and Officer of the Sheet Metal & AC Contractors National Assoc. He was a wonderful husband, father, role model and mentor with a profound sense of humor who will always be remembered as a good-natured and generous man. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dorothy "Dorrell" Keyser; son, Bryan J. Keyser; daughters, Shawn Weller (Mark) and Jody Hibbs (Evan); stepchildren, Deborah Gudelsky (Steve Briggs), Darlene Mottley, and Gary Stumpf (Amy); sisters, Alice Clyne, and Leona Chubb; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 12:30 p.m., Saturday, August 20th at Tabernacle Baptist Church with a gathering with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, PO Box 1510, New Bern, NC 28563.
