Robert Leslie Igoe
Walterboro - Robert Leslie Igoe "Les," 67 died on February 24, 2026.
Les was born on November 27, 1958, in Columbia, SC, a son of Margery Wall and James Thomas Igoe. He attended AC Flora High School in Columbia, SC. Les was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout the lowcountry, always accompanied by a canine companion- Neon, Trip, and Johnny Cash to name a few. Les's love of the outdoors allowed him to share his knowledge with others. He starred in Bennett Marine Videos, Giggin' and Shrimpin' with Les Igoe. A proud patriot, Les served in the Naval Reserves for a number of years.
Les was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, George Humphry Igoe, Sr and Evalyn "Bev" Quarterman Igoe; his brother, Peter Edward Palmer Igoe; and his stepmother, Lynn Igoe. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Daisi Igoe, Jordan Leslie Igoe, Samantha Christine Igoe, and Julia Evalyn Igoe; his sister, Katherine Caroline Dugas; his grandson, Christian Grooms; and his stepdaughters, Mary Frances Jordan, Leah Elkins Ripper, and Laura Elizabeth Elkins.
Memorial arrangements will be posted online by March 4th.
