Robert Walter Hulsen SUMMERVILLE - Robert Walter Hulsen, 72, of Summerville, husband of Nancy Hulsen passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010. Bob and Nancy were married for 50 years and raised 4 daughters. The family will gather and be receiving friends from 2 o'clock with a service immediately following at 4 o'clock on Monday, February 15, 2010 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: American Cancer Society, Brain Cancer, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Bob was born April 17, 1937 in Jamaica, New York, son of the late Henry and Mary Hulsen. He was a graduate of Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park, New York following which he attended Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia and Adelphi College in Garden City, New York. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing and tennis and was self employed as a manufacturer's rep. He was a member of the Circular Church in Charleston. In addition to his wife Nancy, surviving are: 4 daughters: Jeanne Hulsen of Burlington, Vermont, Cathy Gonzalez (Oscar) of Worthington, Ohio, Jill Hulsen of Swampscott, Massachusetts and Amy Tang (Lester) of Scottsdale, Arizona, 3 grandsons: Ryan Gonzalez of Worthington, Ohio, Nathan and Jasper Tang both of Scottsdale, Arizona, 1 brother: Hank Hulsen (Deirdre) of Summerville and 2 sisters: Marilyn Kestler and Ruth Hunt (Ron) both from Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
