Robert Lee Howard HANAHAN - Robert "Bob" Lee Howard, 69, of Hanahan, South Carolina, husband of Sarah Howard, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 21, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Highland Park Baptist Church, 6211 Murray Drive, Hanahan, SC, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, N. Charleston, SC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel. Having earned a Master's degree, Bob committed himself to a career that exemplified leadership and excellence. His military service as a captain in the Navy shaped him into a person of discipline and integrity, values that he carried throughout his life. Bob enjoyed fishing and shooting skeet, often sharing these passions with loved ones, and spending time with his family at his lake house. His hands-on skills led him to take pleasure in building various projects, a testament to his creativity and resourcefulness. Bob was known for serving his church, actively participating as a Sunday school teacher and deacon, and cooking for church events and Holy City Missions. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Howard; children: Caroline McMinn (Michael) of Hanahan, Elizabeth Spivey (Seth) of Cross and Gene Howard (Crystal) of Hanahan; and his cherished grandchildren, Marshall McMinn and Walker McMinn; and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Each of them will carry forward the legacy of love and strength that Bob instilled within the family. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Wanda Phelps, and another sister, Donna Howard. As we honor Robert "Bob" Lee Howard's life, we remember not only his achievements but the warmth and kindness he brought to those around him and the love he had for his family.
