I loved Robert! What a beautiful person, being a great example of an anchor for his family and always wanting to know what to cook for us. God be with you Robert. Our lives are richer for knowing you!

I remember our time decorating and Bobs interest in details. He kept me on my toes. I loved him so much,I gave him Emmett´s Pig , my children´s favorite book. And then he left my life until a wonderful dinner at my house. Friendships live on and I will miss Bob.

I have a flood of great memories about Bob. He was a friend, classmate, neighbor and Godfather to my oldest son.

I am heartbroken at the passing of my friend. I will miss Bob's wit, his emails, keeping me up to date on life in Charleston, working with him, his beautiful meals, his funny stories- and so much more. But mostly I will miss and not forget the lessons he has taught me over these past three years about grace, bravery, dignity and optimism as he faced life's greatest challenge. He is my role model for what we will all face one day. Thank you Bob for so many, many great times. Know that you made a difference in many lives and you are missed deeply.
