Bobby was a great K Company classmate and fellow political science major at The Citadel. He was extremely bright and had a keen sense of humor and a contagious laugh. I was privileged to room with him for a year and enjoy his wise counsel and camaraderie. We all were very envious of his special girlfriend Carol and her '57 Chevrolet Impala. She and Bobby were a great team and many of us in K Company attended their wedding, officiated by the larger-than-life Pastor Heyward Epting in St. John's Church, Charleston.
Rest in peace old friend. You will always be remembered, especially by your K Company classmates.
