GOODALE, Robert Entered into eternal rest on March 29, 2005, Robert Thomas "Tom" Goodale, husband of Mary Messex Goodale. Residence, Walterboro, SC. Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goodale are invited to attend the funeral service of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Two O'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at STUHR'S WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Wednesday from Five until Seven O'clock. Robert was born in Camden, SC, September 9, 1906, the son of Henry Joseph Goodale and Matilda Jane Huckabee Goodale. He was a retired Chief Warrant Officer from the US Navy after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, BPO, and he was a Mason. Surviving are his wife of Walterboro, SC; 3 step-daughters, Jerri McGraw of Walterboro, SC, Jeannette Newman of Savannah, GA., and Kay Catterton of Walterboro, SC; 2 step-sons, Hubert Blackburn of Crosby, TN and Brian Blackburn of Walterboro, SC; 2 sisters, Willa Mae G. Bolchoz and Lillie G. Grooms both of Johns Island, SC; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 3870 Leeds Avenue, Suite 101, North Charleston, SC 29405.
