Robert Davis Obituary

Robert Earl Davis Jr., 86, of Blacksburg, died Friday, January 27, 2011 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital. He was born in Virginia on September 27, 1924 to the late Robert Earl Sr. and Martha Reynolds Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Kytchen Davis and a daughter, Carolyn Ogle. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Diane Quesenberry and husband, Richard, Sandra Sizemore and husband, Tim; sons and daughters-in-law, Leroy Frazier and wife, Paulette, Charles (Skip) Frazier and wife, Phyllis, Robert Davis III and wife, Edith, Dennis Davis and wife, Angelique; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katherine Dean, Pat Smith, Charlotte Smith and husband, Carmen; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewey O. Weaver, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 3until 5 p.m. Sunday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg.
